Course Syllabus
We will be working on learning strategies to facilitate mastery of the speech-language goals on your individual education plan/IEP. Your IEP goals were created based on testing results which indicated areas of difficulty in listening, following directions, processing, vocabulary, pragmatics and/or abstract reasoning. Learning different strategies will also help you to achieve success in other classes and on tests. Here are my expectations to help maximize your success:

Tests and Quiz Dates Students will receive updated speech-language testing during their re-evaluation year. Parents can also request updated testing if significant progress has been demonstrated. A Prior Written Notice/PWN form must be signed and returned to East Student Services in room B 123 granting permission to test. Homework/Extra Credit For extra practice on vocabulary, click on the link to my Quizlet account. Study the flash cards and when you feel confident, take the quiz. Once you are happy with your grade, print it out and bring it to A123 for extra credit! |
